⚪NORTHERN BOOMS, INVESTIGATION WITHOUT BASIS, SOLDIER ARRESTED AS IRANIAN AGENT, SELLING URANIUM!

⚠️NORTHERN BOOMS - Nahariya: Dear residents, the source of the explosion sounds heard in the last few minutes in the city is the activity of our forces in the area.

▪️FOREIGN WORKERS - a large group arrived today from Sri Lanka to take foreign worker jobs in Israel.  Sri Lanka has a very high level of poverty after a mass economic movement to “green the economy” that completely collapsed their farming industry with required organic farming methods only.  They were offered positions in Israel following the departure of many Thai workers due to the war, but apparently it took a year and a half to work through the details.

▪️INVESTIGATION INTO A MINISTER - - NO BASIS - More than a year after the investigation against Transportation Minister Miri Regev was opened, the investigation file will be closed after no evidentiary basis was found.  Even according to the prosecution, there was no evidentiary basis found even to summon Minister Regev for a warning investigation.

▪️INTERNAL HAREDI POLITICS - Figures in the UTJ rabbinical courts are furious at Shas’s leader Deri: ‘He dragged us into political chaos despite our unwillingness, there will be prices to pay.’

▪️IDF SOLDIER ARRESTED AS IRANIAN AGENT - An IDF soldier was arrested for being in contact with Iranian agents and transferring information to them in exchange for payment.

🌎BUYING URANIUM IN GEORGIA - Georgia's police announced that they arrested a Georgian citizen and a Turkish citizen in the city of Batumi on suspicion of attempting to sell uranium "which could have become a weapon of mass destruction" for $3 million.  According to the report, the Georgian citizen tried to sell the material to the Turkish citizen, but no further details were given such as the amount of uranium and what its final destination was supposed to be.

🔥LARGE FIRE in the industrial area of Rahat, southern Israeli Bedouin city.  Due to the scale and intensity of the fire, a firestorm situation was been declared, and it took extensive efforts to get under control.

♦️GAZA - CHURCH ATTACKED? An unverified claim regarding damage to the Latin church in Gaza City and injuries at the site is being investigated.  “The IDF operates to the extent possible to minimize damage to civilians and civilian structures, including houses of worship, and regrets any harm to them.”

.. The Italian Prime Minister has made a diplomatic statement that such actions are unacceptable.

.. The White House: Trump called Netanyahu today and referred, among other things, to the damage to the church in Gaza. Trump did not respond positively to this event.

.. The Catholic pope: I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of life and injury caused by the military attack on the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza. I renew my call for an immediate ceasefire.  Only dialogue and reconciliation can ensure enduring peace!

♦️ON THE LEBANON ELIMINATION EARLIER - The IDF attacked and eliminated earlier today the terrorist Hassan Ahmad Sabra, commander in the naval force of Radwan Force (invasion force) of Hezbollah in the Al-Khafur area in southern Lebanon.  Additionally, a Hezbollah terrorist involved in attempts to rebuild terror infrastructure in the Anqoura area in southern Lebanon was eliminated.

.. A security source to Reuters news agency: Armed Syrian Bedouins launched a new attack in Sweida against Druze fighters despite the ceasefire agreement.

.. Local sources to Al Jazeera: Major displacement of more than 500 Bedouin families after their homes were burned in Sweida by Druze armed groups following Bedouin attacks and murders of the Druze.

.. Local sources to Al Jazeera: Gunmen are holding more than 1,000 Bedouin civilians in the town of Shahba in Sweida after the withdrawal of government forces.

(Both of the last 2 items are likely massive exaggerations, divide by 10.

.. While the Arab world, the EU and the UN are condemning Israeli actions stopping massacres of the Druze in Syria, no word from any of them about massacres and atrocities against minorities including thousands of Alawites, Kurds, Xians, and now Druze killed.

.. According to Syrian reports, there is fighting between Bedouin forces and Druze forces in several areas on the outskirts of Sweida.

▪️IRANIAN AGENT ARRESTED - The Israel Police and the Shin Bet have arrested an Israeli (Bedouin) civilian, a teacher residing in the Negev, on suspicion of carrying out security tasks for the Iranians. Indicted.  The agent was asked to carry out tasks during the war including gathering intelligence on the Nevatim Air Force base and photographing IDF fighter jets.

▪️MINE DISPOSAL - Unexploded ordnance clearance in the mid-Golan by the Syrian border, Ein Mokeysh area.  Explosions will be heard.

▪️MK’s CHALLENGE HIGH COURT HEARING - during the High Court discussion on the conditions of the terrorists in prison (in particular about their menus), Judge Barak-Erez addressed Deputy Minister Almog Cohen (Otzma Yehudit) and MK Gottlieb (Likud, and former State Attorney) and asked them to step out for a few minutes so that state representatives could present confidential material.

Dep. Min. Cohen replied: "Honorable Judge, just as I do not infringe on your authority, so you shall not infringe on mine - I will leave here only in handcuffs."

🇮🇷IRAN TALKS?  Iran reported tonight that Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a series of phone calls with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, US envoy Richard Haass and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi - with the aim of renewing nuclear talks.  This seems to contradict statements from Iranian leadership and military officials that they absolutely would not talk.

🇸🇾SYRIA & the DRUZE updates..

.. BACKGROUND - A Druze channel gave some background to the trigger to the current situation: “The Bedouin in southern Syria operate a major smuggling trade (in particular drug smuggling into Jordan and Israel).  They often move as an armed force through Druze towns in the area, causing conflict and setting up the Druze as retaliatory targets.  The Druze got fed up with this, and put up armed roadblocks to stop it.  The Bedouin responded violently.”

.. An Israeli official to Al-Arabiya: "We gave the Syrian regime army a few weeks to withdraw its forces and its weaponry from Daraa."

.. In mosques in Daraa in southern Syria, a general mobilization is announced, and a declaration of jihad against Druze members of the south Syrian community, while Bedouin tribes, groups and factions are organizing for a renewed battle.

.. PM NETANYAHU SAYS - "I want to update you on what we did in Syria, and what we will do in Syria.  We established a clear policy: demilitarization of the area south of Damascus, from the Golan to the Druze Mountain region, that is one line. The second line - protecting the brothers of our brothers, the Druze in the Druze Mountain.

These two things were violated by the Damascus regime. It sent the army south of Damascus, into the area that must be demilitarized, and it began to massacre the Druze. We could not accept that...

As a result of this intense activity, a ceasefire was established, and the Syrian forces retreated back to Damascus.

This is a ceasefire that was achieved out of strength. Not out of requests, not out of begging - out of strength. We achieve peace out of strength, quiet out of strength, security out of strength…”

.. All Syrian regime forces have left the Druze areas around Sweida, estimates speak of around 350 deaths as a result of fighting over several days.

.. Syrian Druze forces are surrounding and forcibly evacuating the Syrian Bedouin villages around Sweida.

.. Bedouin tribes from the (Syrian) Deir ez-Zor region (eastern Syria near Iraq) are preparing to arrive and stop the Druze response against their relatives in Suweida.

.. A message shared from the Druze to the Bedouins and others: “Oh, you dishonorable and undignified people, you have been trampled upon by the men of honor and pride. You have two choices: either you flee to Damascus for the sake of your Lord, (regime leader) Julani and your masters, the Tatars, Mongols, and Chechens, or we will show no mercy to a single one of you, you filthy people.  

You will not enter Sweida, and if you are determined to fight, then by God, even Daraa will not find safety. We are capable of cleansing Sweida of your many corpses. Behave lest that we and the (Israeli?) air force teach you a lesson to the grave.”

.. US Sec State Rubio: We have reached agreements to end the conflicts in Syria tonight. Damascus: ''Thanks to the US’’.  Turkish Foreign Minister: The ceasefire in Syria will go into effect in the next three hours (said around 11:00 PM).

UPDATE on MISSING HIKERS, COALITION DOES-DOESN’T FALL, THE PESSIMISTS, and AID TROUBLE

▪️UPDATE/CORRECTION on MISSING HIKERS!  We wrote, “6 missing persons reported in the Meron / Safed area.”  A reader called (and we don’t normally take callers on the group-sending phones, I just happened to be holding one): ‘it’s not that a group of 6 hikers just now went missing.  Rather, over the past years 6 individuals went missing at different times.  The police have new information about their possible fate, and that set off the intense search today.’

▪️WAR POLITICS - Party Otzma Yehudit:  In light of the Likud's rush under Prime Minister Netanyahu towards a surrender deal with Hamas, and ignoring the vehement opposition of Otzma Yehudit, a coalition member, the Otzma Yehudit faction has decided today, according to its ideological stance, to support the bill to stop the supply of humanitarian aid to the enemy (which is not the coalitions stance, it is an opposition bill).

▪️ATTORNEY GENERAL DISMISSAL - The Attorney General clarifies to the ministers that she does not intend to appear for the additional dismissal hearing on Thursday.  Per legal procedures for dismissing employees, on Sunday the government will be able to formally decide on the dismissal of the Attorney General.

▪️COALITION SEMI-FALL AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL - Without a conscription law, the sanctions that the Attorney General is promoting against the draft-eligible Haredim are more relevant than ever.  This would be avoided by the AG’s dismissal.  But if Shas withdraws from the coalition, it would block the continuation of the process of dismissing the Attorney General, allowing the AG to proceed with legal sanctions against draft-eligible Haredim.

.. Update: Shas decision: Resigning from the government (meaning ministries and committee heads) but not from the coalition. Not supporting a no-confidence motion in the Knesset.  The coalition DOES NOT FALL in this condition.  The meaning is symbolic but important: the coalition is not a minority coalition and the door to legislation has not been closed.

Official statement by Shas: The decision of the Council of Torah Sages: "In the current situation, it is not possible to sit in the government and be a partner with it, when the sons of the Torah are being trampled. Message from the head of the Druze community in Israel, Sheikh Mowafak Tarif:  “In light of the ongoing massacre in the Druze Mountain in Syria, the head of the Druze community in Israel conveyed a message to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense: choose partnership with the Druze community or with ISIS.  We must strike the Syrian regime and force it to withdraw from Sweida (south Syria with a Druze majority). This is a war of existence for the Druze community.”

Outside southern Syria, including parts of Damascus, Druze haven take to the streets and call: "The people want to overthrow the regime, ya al-Joulani (regime leader), you are not one of us, take your dogs and leave us."  In the towns of Sahnaya, Jermaná, and others, the Druze are ruled to one extent or another by Sunnis after the battles in May, in which the towns fell under Sunni control.

.. Prime Minister Netanyahu: We are working to save our Druze brothers and to eliminate the regime's gangs.

.. Defense Minister Israel Katz:  The signals in Damascus have ended - now painful blows will come.  The IDF will continue to operate forcefully in Sweida to destroy the forces that attacked the Druze until their full withdrawal.

.. Former PM Naftali Bennett: (who will run in the next election with his new party) "Israel must act immediately to stop the massacre of the Druze”.

.. Videos show mass Israeli Druze young men crossing into Syria today, being picked up by vehicles to take them onward. Assessments range from hundreds to over 1,000.  IDF forces on the border are being reinforced by Border Police and Yamam forces to prevent further crossings, including crossing into Syria to control the situation adn bring Israeli citizens back.

.. Border crossings have included Syrian Druze coming into Israel, to meet with family and gather supplies.

.. IDF: The IDF is committed to the deep alliance with our Druze brothers and accordingly attacks targets across Syria to protect them in the Al-Suwayda area, the Druze Mountain, and wherever required.

.. IDF attacked the Syrian presidential palace in Damascus and destroyed the General Staff Building.

.. Following the attack above, reports indicate that the regime leader Abu Muhammad al-Julani, who declared himself President of Syria, fled the palace in Damascus. (No confirmation.)

According to him, a complete cessation of all military actions in the city by all parties was agreed upon, as well as the full integration of Sweida within the Syrian state.”

Syrian Interior Ministry - "A ceasefire has been reached in the city of Sweida, checkpoints have been deployed in preparation for full regime control, Sweida will become part of the state's arrangements".

.. US Secretary of State Rubio: Concerned about the fighting in Syria, very concerned about the attacks. We want it to stop. (This has been misrepresented in the mainstream media as “Israel was asked to stop”.  This is not the case.)

🟫SYRIAN CHAOS DRAWING IN ISRAEL, DEAL non-UPDATES, MISSING HIKERS - Real time from Israel

▪️MISSING HIKERS!  6 missing persons reported in the Meron / Safed area.  Police, canine units, and IDF are searching with a particular emphasis on caves, pits, hidden valleys, and the many nooks and crannies in the mountainous area.  

♦️GAZA - The IDF announces that it has completed the opening of a new area dividing axis, Magen Oz, separating the east and west of Khan Yunis, and its length extends over approximately 15 kilometers.  This joins the existing Gaza territory dividers Netzarim, Morag, and the border divider Philadelphi.

♦️GAZA REFUGE?  Talks of a ‘humanitarian city’ continue between the IDF and the political echelon, with no agreement.  A meeting last night ran over 3 1/2 hours, with no plan agreed.

🇮🇷END OF AUGUST?  Officially the United States and its allies have agreed to give Iran until the end of August to conclude a nuclear deal.  The US and Europe have agreed on particularly harsh sanctions on Iran if a nuclear deal is not signed by the end of August.

🎗️(NO)-DEAL UPDATES - A political source said that if Hamas had agreed to the Qatari proposal, a ceasefire could have been reached and negotiations could have been opened to end the war.  Israel has expressed willingness to be flexible, but the Hamas terror organization continues to adhere to its refusals.

🇸🇾REGIME vs DRUZE IN SYRIA - major firefights continue the in the Druze areas of southern Syria this morning, with the IDF firing air and drone strikes at regime forces in support of the Syrian Druze.

.. Lebanese Druze on Israel helping in Syria - Wiam Wahhab, a Lebanese Druze politician and former minister: “Israel’s Channel 12 rumor about America's demand for Israel to cease its intervention in Syria are false.”  Ch. 11 says: citing an Israeli official, says they are unaware of any media reports claiming the U.S. asked Israel to stop strikes against the Syrian regime.

.. Druze journalist Christine Shahine:  "We're facing a systematic campaign of genocide. Multinational terrorist gangs attacking Sweida "claiming to be Syrian Army. (Druze) youth of Suwaida will not surrender or give up their weapons to such "barbaric people”.  These jihadist killers are, by her description, those trained by Turkey’s leader Erdogan, trained in Turkey; the same ones that have been massacring the Kurds - they are Uzbeks, Chechens and others.  She states that these people are NOT  affiliated with the Syrian Army, they are literally a directed jihadi mob.

.. Desperate messages from Greek Orthodox Christians in Syria. The Church of Saint Michael in the village of Al-Hawra, in the province of Sweida, was set on fire by paramilitary groups and regime forces. They wrote: “They’re burning us. They’re hunting us. Help us.”

▪️COALITION ON THE EDGE - Degel HaTorah: MKs Gafni, Yaakov Asher, Pindrus and Baruchi have now announced their resignation from the coalition.  The (relatively) irreversible first step will be in 48 hours when Deputy Minister Mikalav's resignation takes effect.  At that point, the coalition will be 61, assuming Shas (the other Haredi party) doesn’t act as well.

Likud’s MK Edelstein fires back: "The ball is in the Haredim's court, if they want to bring down a right-wing government and join the opposition, then I will make a situation assessment regarding the submission of the bill.”  He has since added: he will not compromise following the withdrawal from the coalition: ''There will be a real draft law’’.

▪️ON EXPELLING THE TERRORIST SUPPORTING MK - Hadash-Ta’al party MK Ayman Odeh was not ousted, the majority was 68:15, far from what was required (3/4, 90 votes, is required).  Who voted against?  Arab party members, and The Democrats (Labor) party members, and 1 from National Unity (now Blue & White).

▪️PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY PRESIDENT SAYS - “only the Palestinian Authority will be responsible, Hamas will be disarmed and become a political body.”  The Authority has no forces or functionality authority in Gaza.  Hamas as a ruling body in the Gaza Strip will not give up its control, period.

♦️JORDEN VALLEY - JERICHO - IDF: During an operation by IDF forces in Jericho in the Jordan Valley Brigade last night (Tuesday), a terrorist attempted to run over IDF soldiers operating in the area. The soldiers responded by firing at the terrorist and neutralizing him. The terrorist was apprehended, and there were no casualties among our forces.

♦️GAZA TERRORISTS ELIMINATED - Ten Hamas terrorists who were exiled to Gaza in 2011 as part of the Gilad Shalit deal, including some behind the killing of Israelis, were killed in an airstrike last week in the Strip. Most of those killed were members of Hamas' so-called West Bank headquarters, a unit involved in recruiting terrorists and advancing attacks against Israel from or within the West Bank.

🇮🇷IRAN EXPLOSIONS - The mysterious explosions in Iran continue.  The fifth or sixth since this morning.  There are no claims of responsibility, although the Mossad channel on X has trolled about them.

.. A powerful explosion has torn through a residential building in the Pardisan neighborhood of Qom, Iran, injuring at least seven people. Local authorities report that four residential units were damaged, with initial investigations pointing to a gas leak.

.. Smoke was seen rising from Tabriz, Northern Iran as "mysterious explosions" and “gas leaks” occured simultaneously across multiple Iranian cities yesterday.

🇸🇾SYRIA FIGHT PRIMER - (The Arab Desk) Sweida, it all started 3 days ago, it is an event of the kidnapping of a young Druze man by Bedouin tribes in the area,  apparently related to the theft of a car. 

The Druze, in response idnapped Bedouins, which led to fire fights in the southern region of the city of Sweida.  What weapon was used? Whatever comes to hand, from light weapons to mortars, rockets and anti-tank missiles.  

The Syrian new regime sent its forces to separate the warring parties, but they too got involved in fire fights from both sides, which led to the death of 3 of them.

Who’s fighting?  The local defense forces of Sweida, the Druze Mujahedin of Sweida.  The armed men of the Beouin Sunni tribal families, who specialize in smuggling.  And the HTS regime fighters in the middle, but with significant firepower and a recent history of slaughter in ethnic areas.

Israel has intervened to push back the heavily equipped regime fighters with targeted strikes.

The number killed has exceeded 100, including 18 regime fighters.  40 km from Israel.

❗️GOVERNMENT CLOSE TO FALLING - Rabbinic leaders of Degel HaTorah, 1/2 of United Torah Judaism: ‘Since the government authorities are revealing their intent to increasingly restrict the lives of Torah learners in various ways, with attempts to degrade and trample them, and time after time fail to uphold their commitments to regulate the legal status of the dear yeshiva students and Torah learners — the crown of creation and the secret of its existence — Therefore, my opinion is that participation in the government and coalition must be ended immediately. This includes resigning from all positions associated with it, and may God save us swiftly.’

In accordance with the directive of the Gadol, the Members of Knesset from Degel HaTorah will leave the government and coalition today.  The coalition will lose 4 seats - not enough to fall (yet) but very close.

Against the background of the Haredi threat to withdraw from the government, political sources estimate that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering a dramatic move: to angrily fire the chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, Likud’s MK Yuli Edelstein, and present the move as a step taken "because of the Haredim" in order to calm the Knesset members of Degel Hatorah and Shas and convince them to stay in the coalition.

.. Agudas Yisroel, the other half of United Torah Judaism, has not (yet) received rabbinic instructions to leave the government.  However, Degel HaTorah MK’s are meeting with Agudas Yisroel.

.. Detal HaTorah has officially published a letter announcing withdrawal, but has not submitted resignations or voted against the coalition, yet.  “If Netanyahu brings a draft agreed upon by the rabbis - we will return to the government."

▪️TERRORISTS MUST PAY?  Two terrorists convicted of attacking the Youshveyev family in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Jerusalem will compensate the family over 1.6 million shekels, the Jerusalem District Court ruled. Attorney Chaim Bleicher of Honenu: "Let every perpetrator of terror against the people of Israel know that we will pursue him until he pays a heavy price for his actions."

🇮🇷THE FULL IRANIAN ATTACK PLAN ON ISRAEL - Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, during the Noam-Zvia Education Authority conference, revealed new details about the Israeli failure.  The components of the plan, which he said included "5,000 Hezbollah Radwan commando fighters from Lebanon, Hamas Nuchba invaders from the south (which was the invasion), 35,000 pro-Iranian militia fighters in Iraq who were trained to penetrate Israel through Jordan." All this alongside “thousands of missiles from all fronts."

▪️SABOTEUR ARRESTED - A little less than a month ago, in the middle of the night, when the city of Lod was under missile fire from Iran, Israeli-Arab city resident Muhammad Al-Afinsh decided to break into a police parking lot and start a fire that "consumed" 20 vehicles inside the parking lot.  Initially, it was thought that an Iranian missile had fallen in the parking lot, but security cameras led to Al-Afinsh after recording his every movement and his fingerprints.  Indicted on Sunday.

▪️WHAT IS WRONG WITH FORMER (IMPRISONED FOR BRIBERY) PM OLMERT?  Previously quoted in the foreign press for saying Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, this week: Olmert to the British Guardian (news): A humanitarian city of Rafah will be a "concentration camp" for ‘Palestinians’ (referring to a plan being discussed to create an Israeli controlled safe zone in south Gaza.)

▪️POLITICS & THE HAREDI DRAFT - Meeting between Likud MK Edelstein and PM Netanyahu on the conscription law - Edelstein promised Netanyahu to try to submit a draft by the end of the week.

▪️ANTI-AID ACTIVISM - the “Tzav 9” movement is about stopping aid to the enemy.  Overnight the movement blocked aid trucks to Hamas successfully for most of the night, though there were reports of scuffles and injury to one soldier.

▪️FOREIGN MIN. SA’AR - visiting the EU.  During his visit, he will hold meetings with EU Foreign Minister Callas and Commissioner Savica.  The visit comes on the eve of tomorrow's decisive discussion by the EU Foreign Ministers Council on the EU's response to the claims of violations of international law in the war in Gaza.

⚠️TURKISH AIRLINE REGIONAL WARNING?  Turkish Airlines re-shares a warning, saying it cancelled all flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon following "important developments regarding it" to July 31, 2025.  (They’re already not flying to Israel.)

🔹HOUTHIS SAY - A Houthi ‘official’ in a rare interview with Israeli media: 'We want Israel to be wiped out’.

🇸🇾SYRIA - DRUZE vs BEDOUIN - The Sweida area is about 40 km east of the southern Golan, and is a Syrian-Druze majority area.  There is a massive incitement campaign ongoing against the Druze in major Syrian pro-government media, and reports of Bedouin militias preparing and moving towards the area, as well as regime forces headed towards the area, as the Druze rally defensive forces.  At least 30 killed and 100 injured.

While this doesn’t directly involve Israel, Israeli Druze want to send assistance and want Israel to help arm the Syrian Druze in the area.

⚫ GERMANY ACTIVATES SNAPBACK SANCTIONS ON IRAN; TEHRAN THREATENS TO STRIKE TEL AVIV

🔹 Germany has officially requested the United Nations to activate the snapback mechanism against Iran, with the process expected to begin on July 15. The mechanism, part of the 2015 nuclear agreement (JCPOA), enables any signatory to restore all international sanctions that were lifted under the deal if Iran is found to be in serious violation.

This move means that within 30 days of the formal submission, all previous sanctions—including the arms embargo, economic restrictions, space-related prohibitions, and access to global financial systems—will be reinstated automatically, even if Russia or China object. No additional vote by the UN Security Council is required.

🔹 The United States withdrew from the JCPOA in 2018, but Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have remained parties to the agreement. Germany’s decision marks a major escalation in response to Iran’s ongoing nuclear violations.

⚠️ Iran has not issued an official response yet, but its president recently warned that triggering the snapback mechanism is "tantamount to a declaration of war."

⭕ Report that Iran has closed its airspace, particularly over the western region, signaling heightened military alert.

▪️D9 ARRIVAL - A shipment from the United States of dozens of very large D9 bulldozers for the Israeli army arrived in Israel this morning after months of delays, the Defense Ministry announces.  They will be armored and prepared as combat engineering vehicles.

▪️THE ENVIRONMENTAL BATTLE OVER BARZAN - Barzan is Israel’s only petroleum refinery, located in the Haifa Bay Area.  For years a plan has been in place to gradually phase it out of service, due to pollution concerns and real environmental risks (cancer rates in the area are the highest in Israel), with the alternative being to import the distilled petroleum products it produces.

The refinery was HIT and damaged by Iranian missiles.  The battle now is whether to allow environmental permit exemptions for repairs, or to expedite the phase out and import process (which may require building special port receiving facilities), while considering the supply risk to Israel DURING THE MULTI-FRONT WAR.

The National Planning and Building Council recommended to the Minister of the Interior to reject the exemption request until alternatives are examined. (( 🤦‍♂️))

▪️UNUSUAL KNESSET VISITOR - Saudi Journalist Abdulaziz Al-Khames spoke yesterday at the Knesset’s lobby for promoting a regional security agreement and delivers a message from Riyadh: “You now have an opportunity, perhaps the last one in generation, to move beyond managing conflict to shaping a region...  Should Israel ignore this moment, should it establish occupation, humiliate Gaza further, or treat regional normalization as a zero-sum equation, it will not only lose Saudi Arabia, it will lose the Arab world's new consensus for integration."

🇮🇷IRAN HOLDING JEWS - The authorities in Iran continue to hold ten members of the Jewish community in detention since the end of the campaign.

⭕ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING IN GAZA - several Hamas gunmen emerged from a tunnel and attacked Israeli forces in southern Gaza city Khan Yunis.  During the attack, the terrorists attempted to abduct the soldier, who was operating an excavator.  The IDF says the soldier "struggled with them and the terrorists shot and killed him."  Israeli forces guarding the area opened fire on the operatives, hitting several of them and preventing the abduction attempt.

⭕STABBING - SAMARIA - An IDF soldier was stabbed by a ‘Palestinian’ during operations in the West Bank village of Rummanah, near Jenin. The assailant was shot dead by the troops.  Soldier hospitalized in moderate condition.

♦️LEBANON - targeted elimination: The strike in the town of Babliyeh, south of Sidon, killed Hussein Ali Muzhir. IDF: “Hussein advanced numerous [rocket] fire attacks toward the State of Israel and IDF troops. Additionally, recently he was involved in attempts to restore the artillery capabilities of the Hezbollah terror group in southern Lebanon.”

.. The Israeli military carried out several raids in southern Lebanon recently, locating and destroying Hezbollah weapon depots and other infrastructure, the IDF says.  This has included finding caches of HUNDREDS of short range rockets and mortars, and pre-build firing positions.

⚠️REUTERS BELIEVES ISRAEL TO STRIKE IRAN AGAIN - According to a report by the Reuters news agency, the approximately two-week period defined for a diplomatic response is set to end tonight – and Israel may launch another wave of strikes on targets in Iran in the near future.

⚠️A USUALLY RELIABLE SOURCE - “We have once again detected specific movement in the Middle East, which indicates towards some kind of renewed military action.  I've also spoken to a lot of sources recently which are confirming that things are going to get heated up once again.  Keep a close eye on the Middle East in the coming next few weeks.”

♦️LEBANON - IDF confirms: We have launched focused ground operations in southern Lebanon.

.. Al Arabiya: Hezbollah announces unprecedented recruitment in the south due to fear of an immediate Israeli attack. Hezbollah has entered a high alert state on all its military fronts.

🎗️DEAL UPDATES - Report on the Saudi Al-Hadath channel: Israel is considering the possibility of a partial withdrawal from the Morg corridor. Its position is softening following American pressure. (Statements on Saudi channels are often to create pressure, not actual news.)

.. In a contradictory report: the Saudi Al-Sharq channel: No breakthrough has yet been achieved in the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, as today the sixth round of talks was held. However, it was claimed that there is slight progress regarding some issues related to aid and the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

Senior Hamas official abroad, Taher al-Nunu: The current round of negotiations is not simple and is accompanied by significant challenges, but Hamas's position remains firm regarding the fundamental demands of any agreement, foremost among them - a full withdrawal of Israel from the Gaza Strip and a complete cessation of hostilities.  The organization is showing great flexibility in the negotiations that are currently taking place in Doha and is cooperating with the mediators. ▪️CHINESE EMBASSY TO ISRAEL SAYS - The Chinese embassy in Israel rejected a media report saying Beijing had supplied missile production equipment or air defense systems to Iran, calling the allegations “incorrect”. The embassy said China “firmly opposes the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems” and does not export arms to countries engaged in conflict.  This contradicts reports of Chinese military transport planes delivering equipment to Iran.

.. Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck underground targets of Hamas in the Daraj Tuffah neighborhood on the outskirts of Gaza City.  During the strike, over 50 penetrating munitions were dropped, drilling about 30 meters deep into the ground, targeting underground sites.

🎗️DEAL OR NO DEAL?  Sky News: The mediator in Qatar conveyed a personal commitment from Trump to Hamas that fighting would not resume after 60 days.

.. PM Netanyahu: "We are determined to achieve all our objectives: the release of all our hostages — both the living and the fallen, the elimination of Hamas’s military and governmental capabilities, and thereby to ensure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel.”

( Yes, the 2 reports above do appear to be contradictory. )

▪️ARMS SALE ARREST - Tel Aviv District Police thwarted an arms deal, during which four suspects from the southern Bedouin sector were arrested. In their possession, four rifles were seized — three M16s and one of foreign make. The suspects, in their 20s, had their detention extended in court.

▪️GROK ANTI-SEMITIC OUTBURST - During the night, AI Grok praised Hitler, implied that Jews spread hatred online, and that a Holocaust would be an effective response to white hatred.  Following the antisemitic outburst, X and GrokAI issued a clarification post from Grok’s account in which they committed to delete the antisemitic posts and improve the model.

🇬🇧UK THREATENS IRAN WITH - - ISRAEL?  British Foreign Secretary David Lammy warns Iran:  If the uncertainty surrounding Iran’s nuclear program continues and Iran does not renew its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, European countries will impose sanctions on Iran in the coming weeks, plus snapback sanctions.

He added that Iran should not rule out the possibility that Israel could strike again on Iranian soil.

🇮🇷IRAN CAPABILITIES?  Fox News: On the eve of the war with Israel, Iran possessed about 3,000 ballistic missiles and 500-600 launchers. After the war, the number of ballistic missiles in its possession dropped to 1,000-1,500 and the number of launchers to 150-200.

🇸🇾SYRIA - Regime HTS "General Security" are heading to the Syrian coast, Alawite ethnic minority areas, to pursue "regime remnants".  Previous such operations have included civilian massacres.

🇸🇾SYRIA AGREEMENT?  A source in the Saudi royal family tells Kaan News that Riyadh believes the agreement forming between Israel, Syria, and the United States may have a positive influence and pave the way for a larger deal later on with Saudi Arabia.

🇱🇧HEZBOLLAH SAYS - Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem in a surprising speech: “We found out about October 7 along with the rest of the world, that same morning. We convened the Shura Council and decided to launch a support campaign for Gaza, not a full-scale war, because a full war requires prior preparations.

The beeper issue began with a major leak. We thought the purchase had been covert, but it turned out everything was exposed to the Israelis.  The beeper explosion was a very heavy blow for us.

The infiltration of our communication system was nearly complete. The Israelis knew everything. We were unaware of that.

We will not show restraint forever in the face of these violations. When we make the decision to respond — we will respond.

Our only two options are victory or martyrdom. Surrender is not an option.

▪️SHIN BET APPOINTMENT DEAL - The judges suggest that the government appoint General David Zini as Shin Bet chief, but postpone it for two months until the Qatargate investigation is completed, as a compromise with the Attorney General.  The attorney general, who determined that it was “doubtful whether Zini would be able to be appointed at all”, will be forced to accept the compromise coming from the judges. In the meantime, in the midst of a war and a flood of Iranian agents, Israel operates with an interim internal security chief.

From the initial investigation, it emerges that a force from Netzach Yehuda was caught in a combined attack of an explosive devices across an area and a shooting ambush in Beit Hanoun, as part of an assault and clearing operation in Beit Hanoun of terrorists and terror infrastructure – an operation that began on Shabbat in the terror city from which over the years thousands of rockets and anti-tank missiles were launched at near Gaza towns.

Around 22:00 last night, at least two explosive devices planted on the route were remotely activated by the terrorists on the Netzach Yehuda ground force. Large forces were dispatched for evacuation, and then the terrorists, who had laid in ambush, fired at the rescue forces.  5 fighters fell, 2 were seriously wounded, 6 moderately, and 6 lightly.

A U.S. official told CBS News that under the ceasefire agreement announced by Trump, Iran’s ceasefire began at 12:00 AM US eastern time (although they continued to fire for another 30 minutes).  Israel now has a 12-hour window, until 12:00pm ET, to conduct any final strikes against Iran before its own ceasefire takes effect (but hasn’t been doing so).

Israel has achieved all of the objectives of Operation "Am Klavi," and much more.

Israel has removed a dual immediate existential threat – both in the nuclear and ballistic missile fields.

In addition, the IDF achieved full air control over Tehran's skies, inflicted severe damage on the military leadership, and destroyed dozens of central Iranian government targets.

In the past 24 hours, the IDF has also severely struck government targets in the heart of Tehran, eliminating hundreds of Basij operatives - the terrorist regime's repression mechanism - and eliminating another senior nuclear scientist.

In light of achieving the objectives of the operation, and in full coordination with President Trump, Israel has agreed to the president's proposal for a bilateral ceasefire.

The Ministry of Education announces that it has issued closure orders and frozen budgets for approximately 80 educational institutions that operated in violation of Home Front Command guidelines.  These include institutions in cities such as Bnei Brak, Jerusalem, Beitar and Modi'in Illit, Tiberias and Rehovot, among others.

♦️IDF ATTACKS IN IRAN - More than 15 of our aircraft recently attacked launch and storage sites in Kermanshah for surface-to-surface missiles aimed at Israel.

⭕HIT (yesterday) in HAIFA - Contrary to the initial investigation, the IDF says this morning: The hit yesterday in Haifa was by an Iranian missile warhead - and not a failed interceptor.  According to the investigation, no alarm was triggered because the Iranian missile split from its warhead mid-air, and interceptors were launched only at the back section which had been detected. 🇺🇸US ON ALERT - The US State Department has released security alerts for Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, United Arab Emirates and Jordan.  The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has issued a National Terrorism Advisory System bulletin, warning of potential attacks by Iran or Iran-backed proxies or violent extremists in the US - WITH A SPECIFIC FOCUS ON ANTI-SEMITIC ATTACKS.

🇬🇧BRITISH PM SAYS - “If Iran attacks US interests it will be considered an attack against NATO.”

🇷🇺RUSSIAN FORMER PRESIDENT SAYS - Dmitry Medvedev: “A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.”

♦️IDF ATTACKING IN IRAN - Another wave of Israeli Airstrikes ongoing in Northern & Western Iran.  Israel has been conducting offensive sorties against military headquarters and ground-to-ground missile sites in central Iran

⭕YELLOW GAS - An intercepted Iranian ballistic missile that fell in Israel was seen emitting a dark yellowish orange gas.  AI says: it is likely nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), a toxic gas produced when nitrogen tetroxide (N₂O₄), used as an oxidizer in Iranian liquid-fueled missiles vaporizes upon leakage.  Other sources say it could be red fuming nitric acid (RFNA), another rocket propellant oxidizer, which can also produce similar toxic reddish-brown fumes upon release. Both substances are highly toxic - stay away, call police 101 and fire 102.

▪️THE TOLL - Since the start of the operation, 24 people have been murdered and more than 1,290 injured, 14 of them seriously, as a result of Iranian rocket launches at population centers in Israel.   10,630 people affected by the disaster were evacuated from their homes, and more than 32,700 claims for damages were received by the Tax Authority.

🎗️HOSTAGE BODY RECOVERED - The body of murdered hostage Jonathan Samerano was recovered from the Gaza Strip, his father Kobi announces.  “He was recovered in a heroic operation by the brave soldiers of the IDF and the Shin Bet.”   Samerano, 21, fled from the Nova music festival to Be’eri with two friends, where they were murdered and his body was abducted.

May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jersualem, and may G-d avenge his blood!

▪️HAIFA ALARM FAIL?  During the launches carried out from Iran this morning, no alert was activated in Haifa. Initial investigation indicates that a fall was detected in the city area, and the possibility of an interceptor failure is being examined.  3 people were injured. The incident is being investigated.

🇮🇷PERSIAN GULF BLOCKAGE?  US is now noticing signs of Iranian Gunship boats moving into the Persian Gulf, which could be signs of an imminent blockade.

🇮🇷BACKGROUNDER - (Amit Segal) Iran invested half a trillion dollars in its nuclear project, which turned to dust last night. It is no longer a nuclear-threshold state although there is some concern in Israel that in a suicidal act the Iranians will try to assemble a dirty bomb, either to fire or to try to smuggle into Israel. (A dirty bomb doesn’t use nuclear material to create an explosion, but rather as radioactive dust to poison an area.)

This is a direct continuation of the loss of all Iranian assets in the region: the billions it invested in Hezbollah and Hamas were lost forever.

The Iranians thought Trump wasn't serious about the nuclear negotiations, and later fortified their refusal, thinking they had two weeks.

According to sources in Jerusalem, the regime in Tehran has embarked on a suicidal path from which there is no return.

🇮🇷MOVED THE GOODS?  A senior Iranian source told Reuters:  Before the attack, all the enriched uranium from the Fordo facility was transferred to another location.  (Analysis: likely.)

.. A nursing home suffered damage with 3 injured, windows were blown out and a partial roof collapse.  The elderly are being evacuated.

.. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced that they had launched the "Khyber" missile towards Israel for the first time.  (The word “Khyber” represents a Jewish city in Arabia that was captured and slaughtered in islamic history.)

.. Enemy sources say one of the warheads was a cluster bomb that deployed, causing the 10 reported impacts.

🇮🇷IRAN JUST MAKES STATEMENTS UP - Revolutionary Guards spokesman: The(missile) attack targeted Ben Gurion Airport, biological investigation centers, and command and control facilities.

🇺🇸ON THE US ATTACK - The bombs that were dropped penetrated to depths of tens of meters. Apparently, the moment of explosion releases a great deal of pressure, which is expressed in flames bursting from deep within the earth.  The explosion is underground, not above ground. Only satellite photography can give an indication of the point where the bombs penetrated.

▪️AIR TRAVEL - El Al says all of its flights are cancelled until further notice after Israeli airspace was closed for both inbound and outbound air traffic early this morning.  Flights en route to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport were turned around.

🇮🇷The commander of the Iranian Navy declares that the Strait of Hormuz will be closed in the coming hours.  Approximately 25% of the world’s oil supply moves through this strait, with a majority going to: China, India, Japan and South Korea.

🇮🇱ISRAELI ANALYSIS - Israeli officials om the damage the US inflicted on Iran tonight:

1. Regarding Fordow - slim chances that the site was not destroyed in light of the "terrifying" bombs dropped by the US.

2. At the site in Natanz where Israel had already attacked a few days ago, the US actually carried out a kind of "verification of destruction."

3. In Isfahan - this was not an attack on the conversion facility that Israel attacked, but rather another site carved into the mountain where enriched uranium was hidden.

❗️SHIPPING INTERRUPTION - Maersk, the worlds largest ship cargo transport company, said it decided to suspend operations to Israel’s Haifa port after “careful analysis of threat risk reports in the context of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, specifically regarding the potential risks of calling Israeli ports and the ensuing implications for the safety of our vessel crews” following an Iranian missile hit in Haifa near the port.

BUT the company said it was continuing to operate at Ashdod port.  As well, the world’s 5th largest ship cargo transport company is Zim, an Israeli based company.

US ATTACK AND IRAN RESPONSE, WHO CONDEMNS? And DRONES

⚠️Due to the possibility of Iranian retaliatory actions, HOME FRONT COMMAND rules are changed to: a ban on educational activities, gatherings, and workplaces, except for essential businesses, nationwide.

🇺🇸 The US dropped 6 bunker-busting bombs on the Fordow facility + 30 Tomahawk missiles were fired via submarines at the Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities per Fox News.  CNN- The US dropped 12 bunker-penetrating bombs during the attack.

🇺🇸The entire B-2 bombers' westward passage was a diversionary exercise.  Other B-2s completed the task.

🇺🇸American officials are sending messages to Iranians and regional leaders that the US role is over, that the attack was aimed only at the nuclear program and not at a broader military campaign, and that they want to return to the diplomatic path.

🇺🇸Israeli Army Radio reports that the US did not attack the enrichment facility in Isfahan that Israel had attacked, but rather another site that was carved into the mountain where enriched uranium was hidden.

▪️CONTROLLED EXPLOSION - JERUSALEM - a controlled explosion of explosives will be carried out in the Hizma checkpoint area, Jerusalem.  No security concerns.

⭕Prior to the US attack, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced the launch of a large-scale drone attack on Israel as part of the 19th wave of attacks.  There was 1 drone alert in 12:52 AM in the Golan, no other attacks overnight against Israel - no missiles.  If there was a wave of drones, they were eliminated before reaching Israel.  (As I finish writing this report, there was a drone alert in southern Israel - Arava region.)

⭕IRAN BALLISTIC MISSILE fired by Iran hits Be’er Sheva this morning - HIT.  Significant damage, 5 lightly injured.  

🇺🇸US ON THE MOVE - (1) Early in the morning of Israel, the US military began transporting refuelers and bombers to the Diego Garcia base (located in the Indian Ocean).

(2) Seven US military refuelers took off from the US and headed - - west, towards Diego Garcia, followed by C-17 support equipment.  Speculation is they are traveling with strategic bombers or being pre-positioned to support such bomber flights.  Flight time - 20 hours.  Last night another group of C-17 transports and refuelers took off headed east over the Atlantic towards the Middle East.

🇺🇸WHITE HOUSE SAYS - White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt: "If there's a chance for diplomacy, the President is always going to grab it — but he's not afraid to use strength, as well."

🇺🇸DENIAL - A White House official tells Fox News the contents of The Guardian report about Trump doubting the power of USAF bunker busting bombs are fake.  The US military has no doubt about the efficacy of bunker busters in eliminating the site at Fordow, also denying that any options (including tactical nukes) have been taken off the table.

🔹DEF. MINISTER THREATENS - The Hezbollah Secretary General is not learning a lesson from his predecessors and is threatening to act against Israel in accordance with the Iranian dictator's instructions.  I suggest to the Lebanese proxy to be careful and understand that Israel has lost patience with terrorists who threaten it.

❓INTERCEPTORS?  Western sources continue to report “Israel running out of interceptors”.  According to the security establishment, Israel is not even close to the red line with the interceptors.  However, it appears the Iranian frequent switching of missile types is making interceptions more challenging, with a somewhat lower success level that earlier or versus, for example, missiles from the Houthis.

The ship will depart from the port of Limassol in Cyprus this coming Monday and will be able to bring back approximately 1,500 Israelis.  Registration for the cruise will be open to everyone at a subsidized fee (600 euros per person), and to bank customers at a discount (300 euros per person). (3) Following the easing of Home Front Command guidelines - Israeli airlines are preparing to double the number of flights entering Israel starting tomorrow.

Type: Two-stage solid-propellant.

Speed: Re-entry speed around Mach 12 to 14 (about 4,300 km/h).

Range: 2,000–2,500 km, capable of hitting Israel and parts of Eastern Europe.

Warhead size: up to 1,500 kg.

This is a very dangerous missile and is a Medium Range Ballistic Missile.  One significance is it may be launched from the far eastern parts of Iran and still reach Israel, areas the Israeli air force hasn’t reached.

Israeli Air Force jets targeted the Fat'h airbase, which hosts the IRGC Army Aviation in Mahdasht, Karaj. Israeli airstrikes target Payam International Airport, southwest of Karaj, Tehran, capital of Iran.  It is reported that Israeli Air Force warplanes have struck the headquarters of Faraja, the Iranian Police, on the Rashid Yasemi Street of Tehran.

🔹IRAN PUBLISHED A NUCLEAR THREAT via X last night with a video hinting at nuclear weapons.  While this is almost certainly pure fear propaganda, the threat has been taken by Israel and the US very seriously - meaning that even though we know that Iran often exaggerates, it is impossible not to address the threat.  They may have undermined their own position ‘of course we would never use nuclear technology for weapons’.

🔹IRAN DICTATOR MELTING DOWN?  (Although this is from a mainstream source, it’s unclear how they could be getting such information as opposed expert speculation.). Reuters report: Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is in the most difficult situation he has ever been in. ❗️CONCERNS OF AN ISRAELI FUEL SHORTAGE?  Following a missile impact yesterday, the Haifa refinery has shut down for repairs.  Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure: There is no expectation of a fuel shortage in the economy. Israel has fuel in stock and no shortage is expected (with time for the repairs).  

However, Sonol, Israel’s #3 fuel provider, issued a warning about potential fuel supply disruptions following an Iranian missile attack on the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa yesterday. The attack reportedly caused significant damage, shutting down the refinery, which is Sonol’s primary fuel source. Sonol informed customers it may significantly reduce fuel deliveries to businesses due to the damage. The Israeli Energy Ministry, however, stated that no fuel shortage is expected and that the country has sufficient reserves.

♦️AS ISRAEL WAS BEING ATTACKED the IDF bombed an oil depot in Teheran.  Amit Segal: The Defense Minister kept his promise that Tehran would burn in response to the shooting of Israeli citizens, and the night is still young.  The oil facility that was attacked is a site containing 260 million liters. 11 tanks. Produces 7 million liters per day of gasoline to the Tehran region.

♦️HOUTHI #2 ELIMINATED - Muhammad al-Amri, the most important Houthi after Abdulmalik al-Houthi, was killed in an Israeli attack a short time ago.  The #1 al-Houthi may have been eliminated as well, awaiting confirmation. Israeli intelligence discovered a planned jihadi council meeting and targeted it.

♦️IRAN - At least 10 attacks in various areas of Tehran and Karaj in the last half hour  Dramatic attack, our planes attacked a total of four targets: the Ministry of Defense, the nuclear headquarters, nuclear laboratories, and oil facilities, as well as homes of senior Revolutionary Guard officers.

.. The International Atomic Energy Agency reports that Israel destroyed a uranium conversion facility and a nuclear fuel plate production facility in an attack in Isfahan.

♦️SYRIA vs IRAQI PROXIES OF IRAN?  Hadi al-Abdullah claims the United States is giving the Syrian regime army a green light to target Iraqi Shia militias (Iranian proxies) across the border after these militias targeted Syrian forces across the border.

⭕KILLED & INJURED - in the latest Iranian missile barrage by approximately 50 ballistic missiles, Iran says 100 (they always inflate their numbers), 3 killed, 13 injured - at least 1 critical.

⭕44 STORY TOWER hit by an Iranian ballistic missile over the weekend is seriously damaged, but surprisingly likely repairable.

▪️EMBASSIES CLOSED - Israel closes its embassies around the world (for security reasons) following the attack on Iran.

▪️FAMILIES WITHOUT SHELTERS moved as a large group into the underground light rail station in Bnei Brak.

▪️ADDITIONAL AIR TRAVEL UPDATES - United, flights cancelled until at least July 1. Ethiopian, until at least June 18.
